Search RetroNomad for the game you want, set the exact kind of copy you are willing to buy, and let PALScout filter out wrong-region, wrong-edition and incomplete listings once authorised marketplace inventory is connected.
PALScout will classify candidate listings before they are eligible to appear as good matches.
The customer searches RetroNomad first. Marketplace listings are only useful after the app knows which physical copies actually match the buyer's requirements.
Choose the game, platform, release preference, edition, completeness, language requirements and maximum delivered price.
Classify candidate listings by compatibility, PAL territory, exact release, edition and completeness before showing them as matches.
Use delivered price and a trusted exact-release reference rather than mixing different regions, reissues and completeness states.
Keep an exact target and notify the buyer when an authorised marketplace source produces a suitable listing under their ceiling.
A French, German or Spanish PAL copy may work perfectly on UK PAL hardware without being a UK-market copy. PALScout keeps those questions separate.
PALScout separates PAL-family evidence from NTSC-U and NTSC-J signals and returns a clear compatible, incompatible or unconfirmed verdict.
Hardware compatibility does not automatically make a game UK-specific. Country and shared-PAL release evidence are reported separately.
A compatible European game can still have French, German, Spanish or Italian packaging. Language and package evidence remain visible.
PALScout returns “needs review” when the evidence is weak or conflicting instead of converting uncertainty into a confident guess.
The Phase 1 search beta now builds structured buying targets. Live discovery and automated monitoring will connect only through authorised marketplace sources; the listing checker remains a secondary utility.
Search by game and define PAL compatibility, release preference, edition, completeness, condition, language and maximum delivered price.
For a copy found elsewhere, use the existing analyser with listing text and photos to inspect compatibility, release identity and completeness evidence.
Check whether a copy appears compatible with ordinary UK/European PAL hardware on the launch platforms.
Distinguish UK releases, shared PAL SKUs, European variants, reissues, demos, promos and conflicting territory evidence.
Track case, manual, discs, missing components and visible condition concerns before a listing enters a comparison bucket.
Connect a licensed pricing source so a PAL copy is valued against the correct physical release and completeness state.
Save the exact release, completeness and maximum delivered price you want. Background marketplace monitoring and notifications still require the future backend.
Use authorised marketplace integrations to find live listings and filter wrong regions, editions and incomplete copies automatically.
Extend the same exact-copy logic beyond PAL into North American NTSC-U and Japanese NTSC-J releases.
RetroNomad is the global product. The UK/European market is the proving ground because regional compatibility, shared releases and language variants make it a particularly difficult buying problem.
Open the listing analyser and paste a listing URL or listing text. You can also upload listing photos. RetroNomad uses the available evidence to identify the game, platform, regional release, edition and completeness.
No. A European PAL copy can be compatible with UK hardware while belonging to another country's market or using different packaging/language. PALScout reports compatibility and release identity separately.
No. The result is evidence-dependent. Unknown or conflicting evidence is held for review. The launch verdict assumes standard, unmodified UK/European hardware and does not cover every console revision, modification or import workaround.
Not reliably yet. The exact-release pricing layer is being developed and will only be enabled with a trustworthy, licensed pricing source. RetroNomad will not fabricate a market value when one is unavailable.
Not currently. Users can submit listings manually. Future marketplace discovery will use authorised or otherwise permitted access; the classifier is deliberately marketplace-independent.
That is the long-term plan. RetroNomad is the global brand; PALScout is the first regional intelligence layer for the UK and European market.
Paste it into RetroNomad and check the region, compatibility, release and completeness before you buy.
